This recently completed  JP Astrocraft 25 Inch f/3.2  telescope is now Sale pending.

It features Lockwood primary and secondary optics with Ostahowski Enhanced coatings.  The primary is Pyrex and the 5.5" secondary is quartz.  It has a zenith eyepiece height of 76 inches

The instrument includes the following features:

-Feathertouch focuser
-JPA 18 point  mirror cell with roller whiffletree edge support
-The dual frame cell tips out to offer convenient installation /removal of the mirror
-Flotation triangles are pivoted on Teflon lined stainless spherical bearings
-The cell rockers are zero torque design
-Aluminum cell parts black Anodized
-Rear speed controlled 240 mm fan
-Spider is the offset style for maximum rigidity
-The secondary is also offset for accurate Go To operation
-Heated secondary with wiring run inside the truss tubes
-Astrosystems light shroud
-(3) Piece Wheelbarrow handles with dual tires
-Altitude and azimuth locks
-Joined trusses with billet style inserts to assure positive positioning
-ServoCAT / Nexus DSC Pro drive with32K encoders.

-Boundary Layer fan system
-Loading pin system to hold the scope in a tipped condition to reduce the overall height when loading.

The offset style spider is significantly more resistant to distortion from the weight of a heavy secondary as well a vibration in the wind.

Showing the mirror box tipped with the loading pins for reduced height. Also notice the powder coated wheelbarrow handles. You can remove the wheels and handles without unbolting the center tube from the rocker, very handy for loading.
